Arago’s Agora
In the light of the stars, radiates the light of words…
For its 350 years, the Paris Observatory opens a book of digital gold. In tribute to the generous and universal spirit that lived in François Arago, one of his most illustrious scholars. He invites all the “thinkers” of our time, regardless of their origin, to leave a message on the great blackboard where Arago gave his famous classes in Popular Astronomy in the 19th century. Such a legacy to future generations.
A project carried out by the artist Claude Courtecuisse and developed by the ateliergh.
Observatorio Somnia
Thibault Jeanson’s work is the result of a long immersion in the Observatory, as if to bring out the essence of it. An atmosphere, detail, texture, and particular light mark its images, where emotion predominates.
The ateliergh, designed the hanging system and the staging of this beautiful photographic work while taking into account the many constraints of the place. A modular device that comes to rest on the existing device offering maximum flexibility for long-term use.
