The Dinner: A sensory immersion at the intersection of time and performance

Following the exhibition held in the Saut du Loup room at the Palais de Tokyo, the RM 43-01 FERRARI dinner was conceived as an immersive and spectacular experience, merging the worlds of fine watchmaking and automotive excellence. Designed in collaboration with the agency Shortcut Events, the event presented a unique staging where time, light, and engineering converged around the dinner table.

At the heart of the concept: a dining table covered by a black silk veil, suspended by cables. At the precise moment guests were invited to sit, the veil slowly lifted, revealing the table in a gesture reminiscent of unveiling a legendary car. Once suspended above the guests, the veil transformed into a monumental chandelier, integrating a refined lighting system. This elegant and dramatic shift echoed the ceremonial spirit of Ferrari’s iconic reveals.

The guests’ arrival itself became a choreographed moment: the lift, dressed in immersive lighting, welcomed them in a tunnel of light, turning their entrance into a true sensory performance.

All around, iconic Ferrari models were staged throughout the space. Far from simple exhibition pieces, these vehicles contributed to the atmosphere, casting their shapes and reflections across the walls, enhancing the narrative of the evening with a more intimate, nocturnal tone.

Every element — fabric, lighting, architecture — evoked the materials and gestures of high-end mechanics. An experience where the aesthetics of motion meet the art of hospitality.
